Each year Miami Dade College (MDC) honors its best, brightest and most successful alumni by gathering to celebrate and induct a new Alumni Hall of Fame class.  The Hall of Fame Award is the highest honor bestowed by the College to its alumni.   This exceptional group of individuals is chosen from a broad range of industries as honorees are among the nation's premier impresarios, public servants, artists and community leaders.  Hall of Fame inductees are recognized for the positive impact on their profession, the community and the College.

The Hall of Fame Awards Gala not only honors the outstanding recipients but also serves as a fundraiser for student scholarships.  The Gala is MDC's most important fundraising opportunity each year.   All net proceeds from the event fund the Alumni Hall of Fame Scholarship, which provides student scholarships now and in the future.
