Hall of Fame Inducts Stellar MDC Alumni
On May 10, 2011, Miami Dade College (MDC) inducted 22 luminaries into its Alumni Hall of Fame. These outstanding alumni represent numerous industries, including medicine, business, law, opera and public safety, and have made a significant impact in the community and our nation. They were honored at a gala that raised funds for student scholarships at the Treetop Ballroom at Jungle Island.
MDC President Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón, himself an MDC alumnus, praises all of the College’s Hall of Fame inductees for the exemplary models they offer to students and the community.
“These deserving alumni are proof that a solid education opens doors and creates great career opportunities,” Padrón said.
